Our Funds
The funds are “closed end” and cater to wholesale investors seeking exposure to the global mining industry.
The Orimco Equity Fund (Fund 1) generated very strong returns for investors of 30% per annum (after all fees and expenses) for the original investors in the fund who applied for units in 2015 and 45% per annum for subsequent investors in the fund, who applied for units in 2017*. The investments held by Orimco Equity Fund have now been realised and proceeds disbursed to unitholders.
* Over the same period, simple, average returns on the S&P/ASX 200 Resources index (XJR) were 8.1% per annum and 11.0% per annum for investments made in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
Since issuing shares in January 2021, the value of Orimco Resource Investments Pty Ltd (Fund 2) has grown strongly. Fund 2 is now fully invested.
Since the capital raising for Orimco Resource Fund (Fund 3) closed in late 2023, the value of the fund has grown strongly. The fund manager continues to assess and undertake new investments for Fund 3.
